The UX Book Club seeks to enhance the abilities and knowledge of user experience professionals from information architects and interaction designers to visual designers and usability specialists to augment their understanding for excellence in UX practice, interaction design, IA and design theory, while building a passionate local community.

Subjects of interest to this club span design theory, design research and user experience research practices and processes. UXBookClub.org exists to let people know about UX Book Clubs :) This is not to say that:

• any UX Book Club has to use this wiki, or
• that the wiki has to contain a definitive list of UX Book Clubs, or
• that any UX Book Club must only use this wiki as its sole means of communication with members.

That would be silly - there are no rules. Use meetup, twitter, mailing lists, other wikis, whatever works wherever you are… get out there and propagate the knowledge :) :) :)
